We respectfully acknowledge that WestView Primary Care Network serves communities on Treaty 6 Territory. This is the traditional land of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, and Nakota Sioux Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 4.

We honour the histories, languages, and ways of knowing of First Nations and Métis peoples. We also recognize the lasting impacts of colonialism, including the inequities that continue within the health system.

WestView Primary Care Network is committed to listening, learning, and to building respectful, reciprocal relationships with Indigenous partners. Through culturally safe, trauma-informed care, we will work alongside Indigenous communities to advance reconciliation and improve health experiences and outcomes in ways that are meaningful and grounded in respect.
