Art Contest for Youth Mental Health


Calling all Youth! What does youth mental wellness look like to you? 🤔🎨🖌️

Who? For Youth ages 11-25 living in the Tri-Region (Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Parkland County)

What? Create a drawing or colouring page about mental health that could be featured in a community colouring book and/or other future Tri-Region youth-related projects! Submissions must relate to “What Does Youth Mental Wellness Look Like to Me?” and/or reflect one of the 8 Domains of Wellness.

When? From October 15 until December 20, 2024 at 5 pm.

How? Submit in person at Westview PCN, #205, 505 Queen Street, Spruce Grove, AB T7X2V2. Or, email submissions to communityconnector@westviewpcn.ca

Submissions must be at least 8.5 x 11” in size. Larger submissions are accepted.

Youth are encouraged to submit as many submissions as they would like. There are 6 gift cards of $50 for submissions selected based on overall quality and embodiment of the “8 Domains of Wellness”. 💵

Please Note:

Winners (or their parent/guardian, if under 18 years old) will be required to sign a consent form allowing the Westview Primary Care Network c/o Kickstand/Tri-Region Integrated Youth Services, The City of Spruce Grove, Town of Stony Plain and the Government of Alberta to use their submission in future projects. Prizes must be picked up in person at Westview Primary Care Network. Should prizes not be picked up within two weeks, and if other arrangements are not made, the winner forfeits their right to a prize. Winners must take the prize as provided; no substitutions or exchanges will be permitted.
