You do not have to suffer from obesity without support and guidance. Our team understand there are misconceptions and biases in obesity and is here to help achieve your health goals.
Patients with chronic obesity are referred to the Obesity Clinic by physicians for assessments, education and self-care management.
Patients of the Obesity Clinic receive care from a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in several ways:
If you think you could benefit from a referral to the WestView PCN’s Obesity Clinic, talk to your family doctor.

Gaining the ability to manage one's weight is difficult. However, learning how to continue the journey or maintain the end result can often seem equally challenging. Join us monthly for a 1.5-hour workshop to further develop your weight management tools and understanding of factors that can hinder or stall your weight loss. This workshop will focus on selected topics, cognitive behavioural skills, and reflections on selfcare and personal growth. This program is recommended for those who have been in the program for 6 or more months but may be considered by the PCN team for others in the Obesity Clinic program based on personal suitability.
